Core Aeration includes pulling out plugs of dirt from the lawn in order to break up the soil and allow for better water retention. As the water soaks in deeper, the grass roots are encouraged to grow down deeper. This strengthens the overall health of the lawn to aid in withstanding drier, hotter days. Typically, aeration is done in the Spring or Fall and is often done with adding topsoil so that nutrients are immediately added to the lawn as well.
The base price for core aeration is $60+tax for a small front or back yard.
